Merryland Restaurant, Fuengirola

I’ve been visiting the Merryland Restaurant in Fuengirola ever since I moved to the city, and it has never occurred to me to mention it on the blog.

So here we are, giving credit where it’s due!

Merryland is located in Los Boliches and they specialize in Lebanese cuisine, although I have to admit the only thing I have tasted so far was the falafel (so far!). They also have an extensive international cuisine menu, from which I sampled almost everything it offers.

The menu is a perfect mix of salad dishes (my favourite with prawns, avocado & mango), pasta dishes (my son loves the salmon pasta), meaty specialities of the house, small bites and of course all the Lebanese flavours.

On the numerous visits me and my companions sampled everything from salad, dips, fish and meat and everything was absolutely spot on. The presentation, flavours and delivery is always the same, and they never miss the mark – and I’ve been going there for years now.

Not just that, but the service is super friendly, efficient and professional – which I remind you is not the standard in many restaurants in the town.

Merryland is located by the main road and the space is not extensive, but it always feels very welcoming. There is a small garden in front which is perfect if you’re coming with kids as they can run around there safely as you enjoy your meal.

Merryland is very popular with the local expat community, especially the British and Finnish. And if the locals love it, you know you will too!
