Notios Restaurant at Almyra Hotel, Paphos (Cyprus)

It was my second attempt to get to Notios restaurant and yesterday I got finally lucky! Notios was closed for winter and on a stroll yesterday we popped in with my husband for a quick lunch. I’ve heard wonderful things about the restaurant and remembering the food quality from my previous visits to Ouzeri restaurant, I knew we were in for a treat.

While Ouzeri seemed very busy with live acoustic guitar music, Notios was fairly peaceful with the best seats at the edge mostly taken. We settled in super comfy seats and ordered from the lunch menu, which included a dedicated sushi menu, sandwiches, salads & small nibbles.

I picked quinoa & edamame salad and my husband had their signature Caesar salad. Food was absolutely delicious and as fresh as it gets, flashed down with some local wine while enjoying stunning views. We wanted to return for dinner but unfortunately, they were closed so I will have to sample the evening selection at some other time.

If you’re not familiar with the area, Almyra Hotel is one of the best ones in Paphos and it is located just a short stroll away from the harbour. There are a few restaurants to choose from, the outdoor ones being Ouzeri & Notios. Both restaurants are closed during the winter season so check before you go there.

If you fancy gorgeous food with even more gorgeous views, you can’t go wrong with Notios!
