I picked up this one-sentence recipe from the July issue of Good Housekeeping magazine.
I know what you’re thinking, I’m not even 40 and reading Good Housekeeping, but that’s the only thing worth reading you can get on the island in English.
They have plenty of food ideas and fabulous pictures, and I love buying the magazine for my quality time alone by the pool.
This cocktail came handy this weekend, we just bought a watermelon and had some leftover gin from last party, so I whipped up this cocktail in 5 minutes.
Here it is:
You will need small de-seeded watermelon – put it in a blender together with 200 ml of gin.
Add juice form 3 limes, crushed ice and top up with clear lemonade. You can serve it with fresh mint, which I didn’t have or a slice of watermelon.
Enjoy!
