Dining at Muelle Uno: Cambara Restaurant, Malaga

As far as culinary experiences go, it’s often almost impossible to find the perfect symphony of quality food, attentive service, and beautiful surroundings.

Luckily, Cambara Restaurant at Muelle Uno is one of those exceptional places.

I’ve been dining here on three different occasions, but only at the last one managed to bring my camera, so forgive the lack of detailed photo evidence (I will keep adding more as I return here).

One of the first things that will catch your eyes as you walk through Muelle Uno is the quirky decor that will transport you to the depths of the Amazonian jungle. This restaurant really stands out on a promenade that’s filled with places featuring plastic chairs and other uncomfortable seating options.

The other thing that makes this place stand out is the creative menu, the gastronomic artwork of Chef Diego René, described as dynamic contemporary dishes with a Mediterranean influence.

It’s much more than just a dining venue. They have an impressive selection of cocktails, different styles of seating options catering for both couples and large groups, and even live music events.

On each occasion I dined here, I was amazed by the flavours, presentation, and attentive staff. The food quality is unparalleled to anywhere else I tried in Malaga.

If you don’t want to spend over 100 euros on a Michelin star place next door, this is the closest you will get to a proper culinary experience in a very cool atmosphere.

I can’t wait to return and test the rest of the menu!
