Tips for Booking Your Alhambra View Room

When looking for the perfect hotel with views of the Alhambra, keep in mind that most of the time, only certain parts of the hotel will look out on the palace.

You may have to inquire about this before booking your room. Sometimes, the hotel’s most expensive top-floor rooms are the ones with the views.

In other cases, views may only be available from a hotel terrace or shared rooftop, so be sure to clarify this before booking.

Lastly, keep in mind that just because a hotel is close to the Alhambra doesn’t necessarily mean it will offer unobstructed palace views. It’s all about positioning, and sometimes, hotels that are further and at a higher elevation will offer better views.

When searching for the right hotel, location is everything.

While the hotels mentioned above are all conveniently located, keep in mind that the Albaicin district sits on a hilltop, meaning there may be an uphill incline on the walk there. If you are planning to walk to your hotel with luggage from public transportation, you may want to opt to take a taxi instead.

Before booking, take a look at nearby public transportation, as a reliable bus line can save you both time and money while getting around Granada.
