Want an excursion that will leave a lasting impression and photos that will attract many questions?

Caminito del Rey is the one!

This ‘pathway of the King’ was once one of the most dangerous hikes in the world and now boasts the title of the most popular natural attraction in the region of Malaga.

Take a hike through a wooden platform perched on the edge of Gaitanes Gorge, while admiring spectacular views and listening about the history of this natural wonder from the local guide.

Don’t get discouraged by the use of the word hike – it’s more of a pleasant walk rather than anything that would require excellent fitness levels.

Tips for Booking Excursions from Fuengirola

Here are a few practical tips to keep in mind before you book:

  • excursions from Fuengirola may run only a few times per week so book early
  • in the summer, they get booked up very quickly
  • the tours generally include entrance to attractions, apart from one exception – the Cordoba trip
  • most trips start early in the morning
  • most excursions run in any weather, so keep that in mind
  • kids and babies are generally allowed unless the tour specifies otherwise
  • majority of these tours are not wheelchair friendly
  • do not bring any big luggage or large backpack with you on these trips (monuments do not allow entry with them)

For most of the excursions I featured here, the pick up place is in Los Boliches in Fuengirola. They do not include hotel pick ups.

You will receive detailed instructions for the trip once you book via your confirmation email. Remember that you have up to 24 hours to cancel the trip if anything changes, in most cases, for a full refund.
